Season three, episode two:
With Bush/Cheney out of Washington, I think to myself, “Is Comedy Central up to the challenge of ridiculing a president they supported or is subMedia.tv going to have one of the few shows that can still produce quality political comedy?”
Their newest stuff seems to be somewhat reassuring that they’re still ready to kick some ass. For those of you who aren’t familiar with their work, here ya go:
Colbert Roasts President Bush – 2006 White House Correspondents Dinner
Bill O’Reilly on the Colbert Report
Jon Stewart Destroys Crossfire
One of my favorite Daily Show clips explains how the U.S. has created it’s own enemies again and again:
Brother Ali -- Uncle Sam Goddamn
Michael Franti and Spearhead -- Time To Go Home
Let’s end this with some poetry:
Taalam Acey -- 9/11 True Lies
Here are some videos Youtube wouldn’t let us embed:
Rage Against the Machine -- Sleep Now In The Fire
Foo Fighters -- The Pretender
Pearl Jam -- Do the Evolution
Flobots -- Rise

“I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today — my own government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government, for the sake of hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent…”
